With what appears to be delightful weather across the UK, we’re rolling out an additional complimentary trial month on Eurogamer. You can spend a full month as a Supporter at no cost, with perks like an ad-free way of browsing and access to our special Supporter-only material—featuring Five of the Best, Game of the Week, my Let’s Get Evil series, and the Inside Eurogamer podcast. I’ve just wrapped up recording a new Inside Eurogamer episode with Ian and Ed, centered on streaming, and I found it genuinely eye-opening.
There’s plenty more coming throughout May and continuing into the opening days of June. My next installment in the Let’s Get Evil run will likely bring my Dark Urge playthrough of Baldur’s Gate 3 to a close. It’s been an entertainingly grim adventure—though I have to wonder whether I’ll keep my cool and stay villainous, or whether I’ll ultimately give in to those lingering moral qualms. We’ll see. After that, the next question will be which game I should target for my next round of torment. I’ve got a Dragon Age: Inquisition binge queued up, which also lines up nicely with the possibility of a new Dragon Age release later this year. Still, I’d really like to know what other choices you’d suggest.
Five of the Best and Game of the Week will keep running on their usual timetables, and there should still be a chance to fit in another Inside Eurogamer episode before the trial ends. And don’t forget: we field your questions on the podcast. I’ll make sure you get a day or two of notice before we record, so you can send yours in. I’m also arranging a game key giveaway for a title we adored last year, with timing expected later in May or in the first part of June. Just note that these giveaways are reserved for yearly Supporters, so people can’t subscribe for only a month (£3/€3/$3) and then cancel right away. I also have other Supporter-focused extras in the works, and I’m hoping to share more with you soon.
How to activate the free trial
Getting the free month is simple. Sign into your Gamer Network account—the same one you use to leave comments here—then go to the Supporters sign-up page and continue as though you were selecting a monthly subscription. Once you reach the payment screen, find the “Add promotion code” field and enter: EGMay24. The code remains active until midnight on 31st May, UK time.
After entering it, the “total due today” will drop to zero, though you’ll still need to enter payment details because the form won’t go through without them. You can prevent any charges by canceling your subscription before the trial window finishes, and you can do this at any point while still enjoying access for the full month. To cancel, go to your account, open the Subscriptions tab, and choose “Manage (via Stripe)” for your Eurogamer subscription. This will take you to another page where you’ll see a “Cancel plan” button. Select that, and auto-renewal will be turned off.
