It’s hard to think of another year in gaming quite like this one—packed with standout triumphs and some serious setbacks. We saw a wide range of inventive, outstanding games, from Rytmos and Birth to Spider-Man 2 and Baldur’s Gate 3. At the same time, the industry kept facing real-world problems, including layoffs that hit the people making and supporting these experiences. As the year comes to a close, we at least get to pause and thank you for the memorable moments we’ve been able to share.
If you can get your votes and thoughts in by Monday the 18th, we’d really appreciate it. We expect to post the completed list on December 31st, and we’re looking forward to what you choose.
