Wish upon a Jirachi event overview
The Wish upon a Jirachi event runs from 23rd June to 8th July in Pokopia. Make sure you’ve rebuilt at least one Pokémon Center before you jump in.
As the event begins, you’ll get an in-game message that reads, ‘A Pokémon is the talk of the town!’ Once you’ve seen it, head over to the closest rebuilt Pokémon Center. There, you’ll notice it’s decorated with stars, and you’ll also spot Jirachi floating nearby.
Talk to Jirachi, and it will reveal the recipe for Wish Notes—something you’ll need repeatedly throughout the event. When that conversation ends, Jirachi sets up a shop inside the Pokémon Center, letting you trade Shining Wish Notes for special event items.
How to get Shining Wish Notes
In Pokopia, you can obtain Shining Wish Notes by completing tasks for other Pokémon during the Wish upon a Jirachi event.

Jirachi’s Habitat
Surrounded by Stars is the habitat for Jirachi in Pokopia. To build this habitat, you’ll need:
- Jirachi Lamp (it must be switched on)
- Starry-Sky Bed
- Cloud Table
- Star Closet
You can obtain all of these items by using Shining Wish Notes at Jirachi’s shop inside any Pokémon Center while the Wish upon a Jirachi event is running. In total, you’ll need 4 Shining Wish Notes to buy all 4 items and add them to your Habitat Dex. So, this habitat is genuinely among the easiest to secure compared with the other events up to this point.
That said, remember that you can’t move Jirachi into its habitat while the event is underway, since it’s busy running the event shop.
