The Spiritcaller Cave in Elden Ring lies within the Mountaintops of the Giants.
Inside, you’ll find plenty of Lesser Spirit-Caller Snails eager to disrupt your run, plus a handful of spectral Direwolves that will try to stop you. At the end of the cave, you’ll face a tougher duo: a Godskin Apostle and a Noble.
This page is our Elden Ring Spiritcaller Cave guide, along with tips for taking down both the Godskin Apostle and Noble.

Elden Ring Spiritcaller Cave guide
Spiritcaller Cave is situated to the north-east of the Guardians’ Garrison. To get inside, you’ll need two Stonesword Keys.
Here’s its position shown on the world map:
From the Site of Grace labeled “Spiritcaller Cave,” go south-southeast until you spot a way in.
First, go through the southern route. You’ll meet a Lesser Spirit-Caller Snail that keeps generating new ghost wolves until you defeat it.
Loot 5x Arteria Leaf from the corpse, then move into the nearby passage. When you reach the fork, turn left into a dead end with three corpses. From them you’ll obtain 1x Golden Rune (10), 1x Rune Arc, and 1x Hero’s Rune (1).
After that, go through the other tunnel to the west, which leads to a room occupied by two snails—one tucked into the left corridor, and the other waiting just below.
You’ll also encounter a samurai NPC called Inaba, Disciple of Okina. Take him out first, then deal with both snails before continuing your exploration.
The upper-left tunnel stops at a prominent rock wall that you can’t break. Close to the lower snail, you’ll find 1x Golden Rune (12) and 2x Freezing Grease.
Next, head through the corridor that goes south into the following room, which is crowded with wolves and another samurai waiting nearby.
The first snail can be found on the right, tucked away behind some vegetation. The second snail is nearby as well—on the left side, hidden by bushes.
Remove both summoners to eliminate the cave’s threats. When the area is clear, take a moment to collect the White Reed Armor Set, 1x Golden Rune (6), and 1x Invigorating White Cured Meat.
At last, you’ll come to the southeast passage, where the cave’s boss waits behind the mist.
How to defeat the Godskin Apostle and Godskin Noble in Spiritcaller Cave in Elden Ring
The boss fight in Spiritcaller Cave is split into three phases, which shouldn’t come as a surprise.
It begins with a Godskin Apostle appearing in phantom form. If you’ve met this boss before, you may already recognize it in a stronger form.
If you need help bringing him down, check out our Godskin Apostle guide. Once you defeat this foe, the Godskin Noble spirit will move in.
The Godskin Noble is the same one you’ll find at the Temple of Eiglay in Volcano Manor. His approach is unchanged—defeat him to reach the last phase of the encounter.
The last part of the fight introduces a Lesser Spirit-Caller Snail. You’ve probably run into these little creatures earlier in the cave, and they aren’t especially hard to get rid of.
They take very little effort to eliminate and pose almost no real danger. Beat them, and you’ll have successfully cleared the cave.
Completing this clears the cave and nets you 70,000 Runes, Godskin Swaddling Cloth, and ‘Ritual of the Black Flame’ Incantation. This Incantation can be especially useful for players building around Faith.
