Battlefield Studios addresses annoying Battlefield 6 Season 3 bugs, including the mysterious black void, but many issues remain

Battlefield Studios has released a new hotfix for Battlefield 6 players on PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X/S. This small update, labeled version 1.3.2.1, went live on Wednesday morning. It represents the first update on the client side, created to tackle the wide range of bugs and problems that surfaced following the mid-season release of Season 3.

This week’s hotfix targets two key concerns. To begin with, it addresses the issue that made the deploy screen cursor move unpredictably, making it difficult for players to choose a spawn point with confidence. Because this problem was both serious and widespread, it made sense for Battlefield Studios to tackle it first.

It also fixes the bug that prevented players from installing or removing different content packs, including single-player, multiplayer, and Redsec. Previously, attempting these actions from inside the game—rather than through the console interface—would result in a black screen. That behavior has now been resolved.

Even though many players will be glad to see the deploy screen issue sorted out, a number of other problems still remain. In fact, Battlefield Studios posted a short rundown of the most urgent issues ahead of last weekend. A few of those have been handled in this week’s update, but the rest are still being worked through.

As we mentioned in our Battlefield 6 bug report from last week, several smaller, scattered glitches are still showing up and may take additional time to address. Some, like the lighting issue in Redsec, appear to need further attention before they’re fully corrected. Others—such as malfunctioning gadgets and broken game modes—are hoped to be fixed over the coming days.
