How to obtain Alder Wood in Witchspire
You can collect Alder Wood from the tall white trees with purple foliage using a Spirit Logging Sickle in Witchspire.
These trees stand out across the region due to their distinctive height and color. You can also spot the right species by checking your map for areas tinted in deep purple.
So far, we’ve found that a strong place to harvest Alder Wood is R’hyrrgar’s Peak in Eastella in Mira Isles. We’ve highlighted the spot on the map below, though, as mentioned before, any deep purple region on your map should work just as well.
When you’re ready to gather Alder Wood, move up to the correct tree and hit it with your Spirit Logging Sickle. You can obtain this tool from the left side of the Luminary once you reach Hearth Level 2 and Logging Level 5.
Also, because Alder Wood only appears in select places, it helps to set up a Hearth close to a large cluster of these trees. That way, you can fast travel back whenever you need more materials. After you’ve built it, be sure to set down one or two chests near the Hearth so you can store the Alder Wood you collect.
