Eurogamer Black Friday membership discount

UPDATE 30TH NOVEMBER: Don’t worry—Black Friday is nearly finished. I’m updating this post for a simple reason: the discount code is also about to run out. It’s valid only until midnight tonight, so this is your final chance to use it.

If you run into any trouble applying the code, please drop a note in the comments below. Thanks!

ORIGINAL STORY 17TH NOVEMBER: Hello! We’re celebrating Black Friday with 20 percent off the price of a yearly Eurogamer subscription.

Using the deal is easy. Just enter the code EGBF23 in the “Add promotion code” box at the point you complete checkout for your subscription. Provided my sums are right—though it’s been a little while—the annual cost drops from £30/€30/$30 to £24/€24/$24.

With that pricing, you’ll be paying £2/€2/$2 each month to become a Eurogamer Supporter, instead of the usual monthly rate of £3/€3/$3. As a yearly subscriber, you’ll also receive our occasional key giveaways. The most recent one was for Frostpunk, and there could still be some PC keys up for grabs.

Please note: the Black Friday discount code is available from 20th November through 30th November.

Every Eurogamer Supporter can read the site without adverts and unlock members-only features, including the weekly Five of the Best and Game of the Week columns, plus Bertie’s monthly Evil Adventures (which recently followed in the footsteps of Emma’s Adventures). There’s also an exclusive behind-the-scenes podcast called Inside Eurogamer, where we try to explain the choices we make and the thinking behind them. Not long ago, I spoke with Digital Foundry’s Tom Morgan about his work and his approach. It also acts as a place for us to reply to your questions about the site—so keep them coming.

Supporters can additionally take advantage of discounts on EGX tickets and Eurogamer merchandise—yes, there’s plenty to choose from (including that Oranges T-shirt you shouldn’t miss). Plus, when you leave a great comment, you’ll get a warm reddish-pink “(supporter)” label.

Finally, thank you again to everyone who’s backed Eurogamer so far. It genuinely means a lot to me, to all of us, and it’s crucial for the website’s future.
