We’ve been working on something we think you’ll enjoy—especially if your wishlist time stretches beyond the length of a Final Fantasy cutscene (fair point, guilty as charged).
Starting today, you can link your Steam account to your Gamer Network ID, and then receive email alerts for articles about the games stored in your Steam library and wishlist.
So, what’s included?
Linking your Steam account helps us understand which titles you play or are interested in. After that, you can set things up so your account follows the games in your Steam library. Then, whenever we publish news, reviews, guides, interviews, or other updates tied to those specific games, we’ll reach out by email.
Say goodbye to hunting through endless articles just to find the one detail you want—whether it’s about an upcoming indie favorite or the newest patch for your go-to multiplayer title. If a game is in your library or on your wishlist, you’re covered.
Why connect your Steam account?
- Keep up with what matters: Get email notifications for the games you’re playing—or planning to play. No extra noise, just the content that fits your interests.
- Dive a bit deeper: Find out when we publish guides, features, or discounts for games you’re already into.
- Easy to set up: You only need a few clicks. There’s no DRM, no loot boxes—just tailored gaming coverage.
How to connect your Steam account
- Head to the Steam library area within your account.
- Choose the “Sign in with Steam” option.
- Your Steam library and wishlist will be added to your account. Use the “Follow all” buttons in the “Games from your wishlist” and “All games you own” sections to bring those titles into your interests list.
- Turn on email notifications for content related to your games at the bottom of the interests page.
- That’s it! We’ll email you whenever there’s something new to read about the games linked to your account.
We built this feature to make it easier to stay in the loop about what you care about—so whether you’re fully immersed in Baldur’s Gate 3 or looking forward to the next Stardew Valley update, we hope you’ll find it useful.
