Where to locate every chaos cube across the map
Chaos cubes are small orange blocks that have been scattered around the Fortnite Chapter 7 Season 2 map. Picking up these cubes helps you follow the Dark Voyager’s route across the island, and it also rewards you with a generous amount of XP. Still, some cubes are surprisingly tricky to track down, while others end up tucked away in areas that are hard to reach.
Here’s where to find all the chaos cube locations in Fortnite Chapter 7 Season 2.

All chaos cube locations in Fortnite Chapter 7 Season 2
As part of the “Path of the Voyager” mission, you’ll have to find 70 chaos cubes in total, and the good news is that they come in groups of five near Points of Interest (POIs).
Chaos cubes are fairly small, but when you’re close you’ll hear their distinct buzzing noise and see an exclamation point that indicates where they are. To collect a cube, you can either run into it or use the interaction prompt.
Below, we’ve mapped out where each chaos cube can be found at different POIs.
Frigid Fortress chaos cube locations
- Find it on top of a table on the second floor of the easternmost building.
- Look for it on a hot tub in the southern room on the ground level of the red-roofed home.
- It’s perched on a horse statue at ground level of the southeastern tower.
- Hidden inside a gap in the ice wall. Enter the ice wall from the south and turn left to locate the chaos cube.
- Located inside a cave below the cliff. Come up to the cliff from the east, and you’ll see a wooden entry that leads to the chaos cube and Trog.
Sandy Strip chaos cube locations
- Go down the stairs beside the rivalry board to the east, then follow the path until you reach a tunnel with a pipe. Turn right, drop into the hole at the end, and you’ll spot this chaos cube.
- Located on top of a couch inside a cabana on the rooftop of the Deca Hotel, the large black building wrapped in neon lights.
- Inside a sauna on the ground floor of the Olympus Oasis, a location styled after Ancient Greece.
- Discovered on top of a game table on the second story of the structure connected to Big Ben, the massive clock tower.
- Enter the building, ride the zipline downward, then turn right into the first door. After that, turn right again to find the chaos cube in front of a pair of arcade machines.
Squibbly Shores chaos cube locations
- Resting on a bed inside a house by the water on Squibbly Shores’ western side. The house sits just outside the area highlighted on the map, but it’s definitely there.
- Inside a giant clam southeast of the lighthouse.
- Tucked away in the ruins of a stone structure next to a rock. Break through the wall to get inside and claim the chaos cube.
- Perched on a chair on the second story of the Barnacle Bodega, which has a sign featuring Fishstick’s image and a large cleaver.
- Located on top of a chair in Whale Tales, just south of Barnacle Bodega and the southeasternmost building in Squibbly Shores.
Elites Outpost chaos cube locations
- Located at the top of the conveyor belt within the red sawmill building.
- Found on the ground outside the northwestern structure.
- Concealed inside a yellow tent by the river. Smash the tent and walk over the cube to collect it.
- Sitting on top of a tree log ramp.
- Sitting ona crimson sofa in the southwestern area beneath a crimson roof.
Ripped Tides chaos cube locations
- Found inside a shrub beside a wooden cabin just north of Ripped Tides.
- Located in the shark’s mouth of the Fishstick statue at the skate park on the western edge of Ripped Tides.
- On the chair at the tattoo shop in Octo Inc. (the building topped with a giant octopus), positioned on the eastern side of Ripped Tides.
- Discovered inside a wooden crate near a metal structure to the northeast of Ripped Tides.
- Located inside a blue cooler under a pinkish-purple umbrella along the southern beach area in Ripped Tides.
New Sanctuary chaos cube locations
- On a diving platform within the white building south of Sus Studios.
- Discovered under the UFO being raised by the magnetic crane at the southern edge of New Sanctuary.
- This chaos cube has been automatically unlocked for players. If you don’t have it, you’ll need to use the vault at the bottom of New Sanctuary, which you can reach by going down the triangle-shaped structure in the middle of the POI.
- Found inside a hidden cave. To get in, you can use two approaches:
- Take the zipline from above, then break through the tarp wall to spot the chaos cube to your left.
- Head toward the cliff from the north to find cameras on the wall, along with a bush that conceals a secret entrance to the cave.
- Discovered inside a white RV to the east of the Zero Point shard.
Wonkeeland chaos cube locations
- Located in a box on the second floor of a building at the docks on the island’s northwestern boundary.
- Situated on the ground level beneath the slide in Wonkeeland. We recommend entering from the north side of the slide, since there’s a door that leads straight to the chaos cube.
- On the top of the westernmost mountain peak overlooking Wonkeeland.
- Above the Wonkeeland statue near the park entrance.
- Stashed in a bush beside a small structure.
Latte Landing chaos cube locations
- Drop down between the two cliffs just north of Latte Landing to uncover the chaos cube hidden inside a wooden crate next to a beached boat.
- On the partly submerged boat in the northeastern section of Latte Landing.
- On a desk on the third floor of the Bun Voyage shop (in the southwestern corner of Latte Landing).
- On the swing set on the eastern side of Latte Landing.
- Hidden inside a blue tent at the southern end of Latte Landing.
Painted Palms chaos cube locations
- Discovered under a canopy next to the UFO in the snowy area west of Painted Palms.
- Inside the Durrr Burger food truck on the western side of Painted Palms. You can interact with the cube to pick it up, or you can destroy the truck itself.
- Inside Kendano Cheeves’ actor trailer on the southern side of Painted Palms.
- Below the large painted rock fitted with a zipline.
- Inside the plant’s mouth beside the downed airship in the northeastern area of Painted Palms.
Dark Dominion chaos cube locations
- Inside a compact dark structure positioned northeast of Dark Dominion. Break the glass on the western side to get in.
- On top of a pillar below Dark Dominion. Head beneath the Zero Point Shard at the center of Dark Dominion and shatter the glass if it’s still intact. After you drop down, you’ll find the chaos cube nearby.
- On the grill outside the farthest red building to the southeast of Dark Dominion.
- In the bathtub inside the blue-roofed building set south of Dark Dominion.
- On the fireplace mantel in the red-roofed home in the vineyard south of Dark Dominion.
Fore Fields chaos cube locations
- On a flag on an island in the northeastern part of Fore Fields.
- Beside a golf bag and the “300” sign in the northwestern section of Fore Fields.
- On top of a board game inside the southern building in Fore Fields.
- Smash the red cooler near the tent in the southwestern area of Fore Fields.
- On a sailboat in the southeastern section of Fore Fields.
Humble Hills chaos cube locations
- Located on the Peely statue within the northwestern building in Humble Hills.
- Above the swimming pool next to the northeastern house in Humble Hills.
- On the hot tub by the southeastern residence in Humble Hills.
- Inside Uncle Pete’s Pizza Pit food truck, which sits north of the Battlewood sign.
- On the rear of the “A” in the Battlewood sign.
Sus Studios chaos cube locations
- On the cooking setup with gnomes and small robots in Stage 2, the westernmost structure in Sus Studios.
- On the scaffolding above the sets in Stage 1, the central building in Sus Studios.
- On the second floor of the easternmost property in Sus Studios.
- Inside Cosmic Durrr Burger, found northeast of Sus Studios.
- Under the arm on the back of the construction vehicle along the sandy path to the east of Sus Studios.
Battlewood Boulevard chaos cube locations
- Beside the film projector on the second tier of the Golden Reel cinema—the northeastern building in Battlewood Boulevard.
- On the rock climbing wall in the northwestern portion of Battlewood Boulevard.
- In a kiddie pool next to a bridge near the center of Battlewood Boulevard.
- On a table in the southeasternmost home in Battlewood Boulevard.
- Inside the building positioned to the southwest of Battlewood Boulevard.
